I have tried all the obvious options to no avail. After searching the web, I feel certain that I need to install a different driver and people are suggesting that a Windows 8 drive will work. Please can someone tell me where I can find the link for this driver and how can I be sure that it is the right one for Optiplex 745.
Hehehe its working now, make and model too. At first I renamed the 745 folder to 845, created a new 745 folder with less drivers. That started picking up matches. Then I deleted the 745 folder and renamed the 845 folder back. Picked up matches with the legacy desktop driver cab pack. I thought it might have been cause i put a hyphen in.

But i put it in then took it back out. I can't break it anymore. Can't get those results i had before of zero filtered count and zero indexed pnp id's. Some erratic behavior with my boot to usb tests.
