VERY VERY DISAPPOINTING!!!! I too updated from 10.7.5 and the Wacom worked for a couple of days until I connected the other monitors. Now it can't/won't see the 22HD touch in system preferences!! No way to calibrate the wacom, no pen usage, and the buttons don't work. It does however display as a monitor and the standard monitor settings work. I tried installing the older drivers with no success. Then I called Wacom and as stated above they had no idea!!!

I use this drawing tablet on a daily basis and it's is now hurting my income!!! Speed this patch/update up!!!!
Wacom has no idea when the drivers will be available an was under the impression that the current driver only had issues with the 27'. OK - don't panic!! This is my set up - Latest MacPro (12core+64gig ram + 1TB interns;l drive + lots of other drives. I have two displays - a 27' Eizo CG277 and a 27' Wacom 27QHD Touch.
I have the latest Wacom drivers installed - 6.3.14-2 Under Yosemite everything worked perfectly. I installed El Capitan. The Wacom did not even come on and as far as system preferences was concerned I only had one monitor connected. So I fiddled around with all the settings I could find in system preferences - relevant or not, but nothing. Turned everything off and went to dig out an old Intuos tablet to see if that would tide me over. Before I plugged it in, I turned my system back on and there was the Cintiq apparently working fine.
Loaded Photoshop - latest version and that all works fine too. The only thing is that I have a menu bar on both screens and the icon bar can't decide which monitor it wants to be on and changes sometimes. BUT the Cintiq and its remote are both working perfectly so I reckon Wacom can't have that much to do to give us an official driver - which only emphasises how little Wacom give a **** about their customers - bloody outrageous especially as the new Cintiq and the stand cost me around $4500 in Australia!! Sorry, but I can't remember exactly what I did (After all nothing happened until I turned it on again and got a nice surprise.) So go into system preference and fiddle around with mirroring and other options and where the icon bar goes etc. Apple Footer • This site contains user submitted content, comments and opinions and is for informational purposes only.

I’m planing to buy my first wacom and I need some advices. Anyone have experienced the pros and cons of these two products? I have heard some bad reviews about regretting after buying the Pro because of its lagging and disadvantages. So I’m really confusing now. I want to draw on large screen, like 22 inch for example. But there are only 16” and 24 inch in the Pro version.
What should I choose? About me: I’m a hobby artist and I’m learning business to make ends meet. And I do want art to be my profession in the future. Edit: I don’t know if the Cintiq Pro Touch have been released or it’s the Cintiq Pro.
Anyone know about this? And where to buy the touch version? I haven't experienced any lag or any sort of latency issues with my Cintiq pro 16.
I'm more of a sketchy type of artist and don't really do inking or heavy line work so I don't really notice it. Plus i'm sure your brain would naturally get accustomed to it in time and the feeling of lag would disappear the more you draw if there was any lag to begin with. For the most part I am fine with my Cintiq's 16 inch screen size. It's not too big or too small at least for me anyway. The only thing I had to get used to at first was the high pixel density display. All the icons and everything looked all squished and tiny.
This probably won't be an issue with a larger display like the Pro 24. And one thing to note with Cintiq's are that both the small 13pro and 16pro comes with touch by default, whilst the larger 24pro and 32pro comes with touch and non-touch variants. You'll have to select one before making your purchase in case you go with these. Honestly though, I hate touch!
Totally useless in my opinion. It gets in the way every time I draw. I guess it's perhaps sort of useful when you're not drawing and just using your Cintiq as a normal tablet display to browse through content etc.
The Cintiq 22HD by this time is sort of already getting old. A low resolution display 1920 x 1080 compared to the Pro 1440 or even 4k displays. Still, I have heard good opinions about this old Cintiq, seeing as how many artists have used these in the past.
It's definitely robust, but is sort of bulky and takes up quite a bit of desk space. Anyway, I find it really difficult to recommend a display tablet to someone who has not tried one yet. If possible, you could go to one of those physical wacom stores and try the Cintiq's out yourself to really get a feel for it and to see which one's best suit you. Oh and one more thing! There's also the Dell Canvas 27 which is kind of in between the Cintiq pro 24 and Cintiq pro 16 in terms of price and it also uses wacom technology. And though it doesn't have touch, I still think it makes for a great alternative.
You mean the ExpressKey Remote? Well, my Pro 16 didn't come with one, but I think they come bundled with the Pro 24 and Pro 32. You can basically assign the buttons on the remote to what ever shortcut you like. Do take note however that all Cintiq Pro's don't actually have physical buttons on, only the older 22HD has them. It's pretty much the reason why Wacom sells the expresskey remote. For my Pro 16, I'm more than happy using my keyboard next to it for shortcuts. But for larger displays, I think the remote would definitely come in handy.
